Hebrews 12:1-3 challenges all Christians to run the race of the Christian life with perseverance. As “Forerunners” we continue to run the race—leading the way and leaving a legacy for those who come after us in this Christian journey.
Webster defines a “Forerunner” as “one who goes before and in some way announces the coming to others.” Forerunners are in the forefront of prayer, praise and service…examples of Christ-like love for future generations.
This race involves moving forward in our Christian lives, going somewhere—pressing on—knowing that others are following our lead.
