All In | Friday

Devotional
Today is decision day. After four days of examining what it means to truly follow Jesus, the question becomes personal and urgent: Can you really say you've burned the ships and gone all in with Jesus?
Maybe you've been tiptoeing around the edges of the kingdom of God, dipping your toe in the water but never fully diving in. Maybe you've been comfortable with a version of Christianity that doesn't cost you much or challenge you deeply. But Jesus is calling you to something more - something that will transform not just your eternal destiny, but your daily reality.
Going all in with Jesus means your greatest concern shifts from personal gain to His glory. It means you care more about who doesn't know Jesus than about your own comfort. It means you're willing to be uncomfortable if it means others can experience the life-changing love of Christ.
This isn't about perfection - it's about direction. It's about saying, 'Jesus, I want to please You above all else. Whatever it costs, whatever it takes, wherever You lead, I'm following.' It's about releasing your grip on the dead things you've been dragging behind you and embracing the abundant life He offers.
The beautiful truth is that when you really go all in with Jesus, you discover that what you thought you were giving up was nothing compared to what you gain. You find purpose, peace, and a love that never fails. You discover that He's not asking you to sacrifice good things - He's asking you to trade them for the best thing: Himself.
Bible Verse
Then he said to them all: 'Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' - Luke 9:23
Reflection Question
If today were the day to go all in with Jesus, what would that look like practically in your life, and what's preventing you from taking that step right now?
Quote
Can you really say, man, I've burned the ships, I'm all in with Jesus. I am all his. Whatever it costs, whatever it takes.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I'm tired of halfway commitment. I want to be all Yours, whatever it costs, whatever it takes. Help me burn the ships that keep me from following You wholeheartedly. I choose You above all else. Hold onto me as I learn to hold onto You. Amen.
