Heaven Throws a Party | Thursday

When the shepherd finds the lost sheep, he doesn't quietly tuck it back into the flock and move on. He calls his friends and neighbors together and celebrates. Jesus says there is more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine who don't need to.

Let that land for a moment. Heaven throws a party every single time someone comes home. Luke 15:7 says it directly: "I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." - Luke 15:7

This tells us something important about what God values. He is not indifferent to people far from Him. He is actively, joyfully invested in their return. And if that's what moves heaven, it should move us too.

When someone in your life takes a step toward God, that's not a small thing. That's a heaven-level celebration. And when you share your story, when you invite someone to take one step closer to Jesus, you get to be part of that.

Don't underestimate the weight of a simple conversation, a kind word, or an honest invitation. You might be the moment someone's story begins to turn. And when it does, heaven will be celebrating right along with you.

When someone around you takes a step toward faith, do you genuinely celebrate it the way heaven does, or has that kind of joy become routine or even invisible to you?
