Number Your Days | Tuesday

Devotional
Most of us live as if we have unlimited time. We put off hard conversations, delay meaningful commitments, and assume there will always be a better moment to get serious about our faith. But Scripture pushes back on that assumption gently and honestly.
Psalm 90 reminds us that wisdom begins with numbering our days. Not in a morbid way, but in a clarifying way. When you hold an honest awareness of life's brevity, it changes how you spend your time, your energy, and your attention.
Paul lived with two dates on his calendar: today and that day. Today, the day God has given Him right now. And that day, the day he would stand before the Lord. Both mattered deeply. Living fully in the present while keeping an eye on eternity is not a contradiction. It is actually the most grounded way to live.
You do not need to have everything figured out. You just need to start living intentionally today. What would change in your daily routine if you genuinely believed that how you live right now is shaping the person you are becoming?
Bible Verse
"The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away." - Psalm 90:10
Reflection Question
If you truly lived today with eternity in view, what is one thing you would do differently?
Quote
If we're gonna live to finish strong, we better live with the end in mind.
Prayer
Father, teach me to number my days and live them with purpose. Help me not to waste what You have given me, but to invest it in what truly lasts. Amen.
