Devotional

Sometimes the problem isn't that we need more evidence - it's that we're refusing to see what's already right in front of us. When people demanded more miraculous signs from Jesus, He pointed to those in history who responded to far less evidence with great faith. The Queen of Sheba traveled great distances just to hear Solomon's wisdom. The people of Nineveh repented at Jonah's simple message. Yet here was someone greater than both Solomon and Jonah, and people were still asking for more proof. The issue wasn't insufficient evidence; it was a heart problem. We can stand right in front of the light and still choose to live in darkness. We can attend church every Sunday and still resist God's clear calling on our lives. Perhaps God has been speaking to you about joining a small group, serving in ministry, or addressing a relationship issue. The invitation is clear, but are you willing to see it? Today, ask yourself: where might God be calling you to step forward in faith, and what's keeping you from responding?

Bible Verse

"The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with the people of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom; and now something greater than Solomon is here." - Luke 11:31

Reflection Question

What clear calling from God have you been avoiding or making excuses about?

Quote

The problem is Not a lack of light. It's the refusal. It's the refusal to see.

Prayer

Lord, give me eyes to see Your clear direction in my life. Help me stop making excuses and step forward in obedience to Your calling.
