Devotional

All week, we have been circling the same invitation. God sees your heart. He knows your struggles. His grace is real and His authority is good. Now comes the moment that matters most: what are you going to do with it?

Surrender is not a one-time event. It is a daily choice. It is choosing, again and again, to let God have the final word. In your finances. In your relationships. In the quiet places where no one else is watching.

You were bought at a price. That means you are not your own, and that is actually the best news you will ever hear. Because the One who bought you is trustworthy. He is not trying to control you. He is trying to free you.

His Word is still active today. He is still transforming hearts, still reaching into broken places, still making things new. But He will not force your hand. He is extending an invitation.

You can keep stiff-arming Him, pretending you have it all under control. Or you can take a step of surrender today and discover what life looks like when He is truly in charge.

The door is open. The grace is ready. All that is left is your yes.

Bible Verse

"You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body." - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Reflection Question

What is one concrete step of surrender you can take today to place a specific area of your life under God's authority?

Quote

Are you going to take a step of surrender today or are you just going to keep on living, pretending like it's going to be okay?

Prayer

Lord, I choose surrender today. Take every part of me, the parts I am proud of and the parts I am ashamed of, and make me fully Yours. I trust You with all of it. Amen.
