When Fear Feels Louder Than Faith | Monday

Fear is not a new problem. It has followed humanity from the beginning, and today it seems louder than ever. More information, more security, more technology, and yet more anxiety than any generation before us. Something is clearly broken in how we are trying to manage it.

The good news is that Jesus does not ask us to manage our fear on our own. He steps directly into it. In Matthew 14, the disciples are caught in a violent storm, straining against the waves in the middle of the night. And Jesus walks out to meet them right there, in the middle of the chaos.

He did not wait for the storm to pass. He did not meet them safely on the shore. He came to them in the storm. That is who He is.

Whatever you are carrying right now, whether it is worry about your finances, your health, your relationships, or your future, Jesus is not distant from it. He sees it. He knows it. And He is walking toward you in the middle of it.

This week, we are going to look honestly at fear and what Jesus says about it. Not with easy answers, but with a clear vision of who Christ is and why that changes everything.

What fear in your life right now feels too big or too personal for God to actually care about?

Prayer

Lord, thank You that You are not surprised by what I am facing. Help me to see You clearly in the middle of my storm this week. Amen.
