Devotional

We have spent four days walking through what happens when we forget grace. We have seen how it breeds pride, passivity, misplaced priorities, and indifference toward others. But here is the good news. The story does not have to end there.

When we remember what it actually cost God to save us, everything shifts. Not just our theology, but our everyday lives. The way we treat our spouse. The way we give. The way we spend a Tuesday afternoon. The way we see the stranger across the street.

This is why Jesus, on the night before He was crucified, gathered His disciples and said, do this in remembrance of Me. He knew that we would forget. He knew that life would crowd out the weight of what He had done. So He gave us a practice, a rhythm, a moment to stop and remember.

Remembering grace is not just a feeling. It is a realignment. It pulls your heart back to what matters. It restores your compassion. It sends you back into the mission with fresh eyes and an open hand.

You are not too far gone. You are not too comfortable to change. Grace that was powerful enough to save you is powerful enough to send you. Let it do both.

Bible Verse

"He said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.’" - Luke 15:31

Reflection Question

What is one specific, practical way you can live differently this week because of the grace God has shown you?

Quote

When we remember the grace of God and when we are aligned with the heart of God, it affects everything about you. It affects the way that you spend your time. It affects the way you give. It affects the way that you deal with your spouse and you love your spouse and serve your spouse.

Prayer

Father, thank You for a grace I did not earn and could never deserve. Let the memory of what You have done for me change the way I live today. Send me forward with a heart that looks like Yours.
