Devotional

Have you ever felt like God might be done with you? Maybe you've failed so many times that you wonder if you've exhausted His patience. Perhaps you've made choices that seem unforgivable, or you've walked away from Him one too many times. The beautiful truth in Jonah's story is that God specializes in second chances. When the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time, it wasn't because Jonah deserved it—it was because of who God is. God's character is defined by grace, mercy, and relentless love. He doesn't give up on us when we give up on ourselves. Throughout Scripture, we see God choosing the unlikely and giving fresh starts to the fallen. Your past mistakes don't disqualify you from God's purposes; they actually position you to experience His grace more deeply. The very fact that you're reading this today is evidence that God isn't finished with your story. He has more chapters to write, more healing to bring, and more purpose to unfold in your life.

Bible Verse

'The word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time: "Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you."' - Jonah 3:1-2
