Devotional

Take a moment to look around you today. The person sitting next to you on the bus, your coworker, your neighbor - they all share something in common with you. Everyone deals with worry and anxiety about the future. It's the great equalizer of humanity. Whether you're wealthy or poor, young or old, successful or struggling, uncertainty about tomorrow touches every heart. But here's what's
remarkable: Jesus knew this about us 2,000 years ago. He understood that worry would compete for our attention, our minds, and our hearts. It would try to direct our steps and influence our decisions. Recognizing that you're not alone in this struggle is the first step toward freedom. Your anxiety doesn't make you weak or faithless - it makes you human. But Jesus didn't leave us to figure this out
on our own.

Bible Verse

'Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear."' - Luke 12:22

Reflection Question

What specific worries have been competing for your attention and heart lately?

Quote

The common denominator that is 100% across all humanity is that everyone deals with worry, everyone deals with anxiety, everyone deals with uncertainty, not knowing what the future holds exactly.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for understanding my human tendency to worry. Help me remember that I'm not alone in this struggle, and that You have a solution for my anxious heart.
